jonezyboy When Hates You And You was dropped on an unsuspecting public I doubt the world was ready for this Part Chimp inspired monster riffing album. Over the years they have made much more intelligent albums, but the sheer savagery of this album is hard to match. Brutal and brilliant. Favorite track: A Witch Is Born.

eldudowski again weirdly straightup for hc. part chimp vibes. gr8 to hear more of their formative years. they got nastier and weirder. then weirder and spacier. but this is good riffy fun.

Levrikon What an amazing, weird album. Hey Colossus' first two albums are buzzy, experimental hardcore that sound as different from the Happy Birthday era sludge as that sounds from their modern stuff. Fantastic and fantastically strange. Favorite track: Red Nails.

Richard Hare Kev Head insists the Buffalo Bar was a Glass Shrimp Radio Show (Resonance FM) event... they had the football on upstairs... England had won earlier, partner kept disappearing upstairs to watch Italy and completely missed Trencher... Don’t remember the performance - my memory of “Witch” at a Betsy Trotwood gig I videoed is slightly clearer..? The video is not. Favorite track: A Witch Is Born.

We formed in the summer of 2003. The first rehearsal was early June. The first gig was September with Trencher and Southall Riot at The Buffalo Bar in North London. The set we played was this album plus a cover of Fang's The Money Will Roll Right In (which ended up on a split 7", released by Theory of Nothing Records, with Lords). These five songs and the cover were recorded over the first weekend in December. Back in 2003 we wanted to be something between Fudge Tunnel and Can, John Peel played Red Nails and said we sounded like Pink Floyd.

We played with Black Eyes, the Dischord band, at a Silver Rocket night at The Garage on the Friday then recorded over the following two days. It was mixed and sent off to be pressed up on our own label, Jonson Family. We made 500 copies, heavy black vinyl, gatefold sleeve, and started selling them January 2004. The launch gig was at ROTA in Notting Hill, West London. We sold each record for £5.

This has album has never been available online. It's not been on Youtube. It's not been on any streaming service. This has not been remastered. Nothing has changed. This is what we sent to the pressing plant in 2003.

There are only two members left from this line up. Should a band keep the same name when they go through numerous line up changes and stylistic alterations over almost two decades? Ask Napalm Death. I wish we were still called Brain Bucket, the band we did when we were 12.
